Life Terminated

What do War and Abortion have in common? Everything.

Life Terminated

September 11th, 2001 – 19 terrorists linked to Al-Qaeda and motivated by Islamic radicalism hijacked 4 passenger airliners and flew the planes into both World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon. The attacks killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 others.

Have you ever lost a loved one? That one person’s death was a painful tragic experience right? Even if they were a believer and you know they are with Jesus, it hurts deeply to lose someone. 2,996 individual human beings taken from those that loved them.

What motivates a person to do something like that? To cause that kind of pain not only to a victim but to their families? No baby or toddler I have ever met is born intent on causing suffering and murdering people, or segregating themselves from people, or withholding hospitality from people.

Yet through radical religious, social, or political conditioning, demonstrated primarily by parents and secondarily by culture, church, or State, one may be taught to hate or devalue the life and existence of another who is different from them or does not comply with their agenda or belief system or who simply inconveniences them.

  • Stalin was motivated by Marxism. (Political)
  • Hitler was motivated by Racism. (Social)
  • Bin Laden was motivated by Islam. (Religious)

These types of thought systems can lead a person to eventually devalue the precious human life of another, whether they be a capitalist, a Jew, or an infidel, and take that person’s life.

Margaret Sanger

Margaret Sanger, an outspoken eugenicist, strongly believed some people had more desirable genes than others and therefore encouraged the sterilization of persons with less desirable qualities. Sanger’s disdain for the black population, minority groups, as well as the diseased and disabled spawned the birth of an abortion corporation known as Planned Parenthood.

“Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying … demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism … [Philanthropists] encourage the healthier and more normal sections of the world to shoulder the burden of unthinking and indiscriminate fecundity of others; which brings with it, as I think the reader must agree, a dead weight of human waste.

Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the stocks that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world, it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant … We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.” – Margaret Sanger, The Pivot of Civilization

In an 1957 interview with journalist Mike Wallace, Sanger said…

“I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world – that have disease from their parents, that have no chance in the world to be a human being practically. Delinquents, prisoners, all sorts of things just marked when they’re born. That to me is the greatest sin – that people can – can commit.”

  • On average, Planned Parenthood aborts over 300,000 children a year.
  • Between 2010-2014 Planned Parenthood alone aborted 1,642,227 children.
  • Over 58 million unborn children have been aborted in the US since Roe vs Wade in 1973.

What do war and abortion have in common?
A great deal according to Mother Teresa.

Last Sunday, September 4th 2016, Mother Teresa was canonized a saint by Pope Francis. In honor of her and her love for Jesus, the poor, the unborn, and the orphan I would like to read to you a quote from her speech at the 1994 National Prayer Breakfast. You can actually watch the CSPAN video of her speech on YouTube and I recommend that you do!

“On the last day, Jesus will say to those on His right hand, “Come, enter the Kingdom. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was sick and you visited me.” Then Jesus will turn to those on His left hand and say, “Depart from me because I was hungry and you did not feed me, I was thirsty and you did not give me to drink, I was sick and you did not visit me.” These will ask Him, “When did we see You hungry, or thirsty or sick and did not come to Your help?” And Jesus will answer them, “Whatever you neglected to do unto one of these least of these, you neglected to do unto Me!”

The greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love and we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts. Jesus gave even His life to love us. So, the mother who is thinking of abortion, should be helped to love, that is, to give until it hurts her plans, or her free time, to respect the life of her child. The father of that child, whoever he is, must also give until it hurts.

By abortion, the mother does not learn to love, but kills even her own child to solve her problems. And, by abortion, that father is told that he does not have to take any responsibility at all for the child he has brought into the world. The father is likely to put other women into the same trouble. So abortion just leads to more abortion. Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion…

…I will tell you something beautiful. We are fighting abortion by adoption – by care of the mother and adoption for her baby. We have saved thousands of lives. We have sent word to the clinics, to the hospitals and police stations: “Please don’t destroy the child; we will take the child.” So we always have someone tell the mothers in trouble: “Come, we will take care of you, we will get a home for your child.” And we have a tremendous demand from couples who cannot have a child – but I never give a child to a couple who have done something not to have a child. Jesus said, “Anyone who receives a child in my name, receives me.” By adopting a child, these couples receive Jesus but, by aborting a child, a couple refuses to receive Jesus.

Let us make that one point — that no child will be unwanted, unloved, uncared for, or killed and thrown away. And give until it hurts — with a smile. If we remember that God loves us, and that we can love others as He loves us, then America can become a sign of peace for the world.

From here, a sign of care for the weakest of the weak — the unborn child — must go out to the world. If you become a burning light of justice and peace in the world, then really you will be true to what the founders of this country stood for. God bless you!”
You cannot be a Christian and support Abortion.

In the same speech, Mother Teresa also said “every abortion is the denial of receiving Jesus”. I agree with her, although God’s grace comes to all who repent and believe in Jesus (abortion doctors, mothers, staff, politicians, supporters, all of them), you cannot be unrepentant, support abortion, and be saved.

What does the Bible say about unborn children?

  1. God considers a baby in the womb a baby, not a clump of tissue or some other manufactured renaming of a human being to devalue it’s life. Jesus, while in the womb, was referred to as a “baby” not a fetus.

“When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.” – Luke 1:41

  1. God knows a child before they are even in the womb. If you support terminating a baby, you are actively resisting the will of God Himself. If you are unrepentantly resisting Him, how can you call Him Lord? He is not your Lord, choice is your lord and god and idol above Him.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5

How many Prophets and people of God have we martyred before they were even out of the womb?

We need to love a living person at all stages, whether 20 weeks or two hundred weeks. The only difference between you and I and a baby in the womb is time.

If you are a Christian, just those two Biblical points should be enough for you. If not, here is a third…

  1. Children are the Least – Jesus said Children, like the poor, are considered the Least in society because they cannot contribute, they cannot help and support themselves.

“Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.” – Luke 9:48

Jesus also said, as Mother Teresa quoted, that whatever we do unto the least we do unto Jesus.

““He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’” – Matthew 25:45

If Jesus said these words with regard to our neglect of the life and wellness of the poor, how much more does this apply to the live and wellness of an unborn defenseless child?

Some might ask:

What if the woman is raped?
– Should the child be punished for the crimes of the father?
What if the mother will die in labor?
– Her death is not certain. Secondly, I would gladly sacrifice my life for my child.
What if the child will be diseased?
– Disease is not certain. Secondly, Jesus often healed people born with ailments. Does God want us to trust in Him for healing or kill our children?

Warning to Harming Children

God says a human being is a person before they are even in the womb. He considers them a baby while in the womb.

  1. Jesus said if we harm children, we are storing up wrath for us on the Day of Judgement.

“He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

…So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.” – Matthew 18:2-9, 14

You have to make a choice

Here’s where reality sets in and you have to make a choice. You have a choice, you’ve always had a choice; , you have to abandon your idol of choice and abortion, die to self and this world, cut those old belief out of you, and live for Jesus and His commands… or you have to abandon Jesus. You cannot live unrepentantly and expect Grace, you must decide, is Jesus your Lord and His Word your way or is Abortion your Lord, and Margaret Sanger’s words your way? Do you worship in the Church of Jesus Christ or the church of Planned Parenthood? You cannot be a Christian and unrepentantly support abortion.

If you have had an abortion, if you have considered it, if you have supported it… God will forgive you, and if you have repented and you believe in Jesus, He does forgive you, you’ve found mercy in Him. He loves you, and if your baby was aborted, that baby is in the arms of Jesus as we speak!

But for those who have fallen into the twisted idea that you can be a murderer, you can support murder, not repent or change, and go to Heaven? You have deceived yourself.

“Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness.” – 1 John 2:9

“Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.” – 1 John 3:15

You have a choice; worship the idol of abortion and perish, or worship and obey the Lord Jesus and be saved.

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples…

41 You are doing the works of your own father.”

“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me.43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47 Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” – John 8:31, 41-47

You can claim to be God’s child until you are blue in the face, but so long as you do not repent and continue to approve, support and desire to murder, especially unborn children, you are not God’s child.

“Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” – Romans 1:28-32

What is the solution to the murder problem?

The solution to the murder problem, whether manifested in acts of terrorism or abortion, is love. Love of family, love of neighbor, love of orphan, love of enemy, love of mother and child, and love of God. This love may lead you to adopt, it may lead you to financially help someone who is adopting, it may lead you to give to a women’s health clinic that provides for mothers with unexpected pregnancies, it may lead you to give to a mother herself. Whatever we do, this love we have must manifest into action on behalf of those in need. Otherwise, I’m afraid, our tears and our words do very little to right these wrongs.

“Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15 Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. – 1 John 3:13-18
