Why will many Christians go to Hell? Can rich people get in to Heaven? Who is really saved anyhow? These questions are answered in this sermon from Rich Tidwell’s series titled “Words in Red.”View Sermon
If your faith in Jesus does not result in your living as Jesus, it’s no faith at all! (see 1 John 2:3-6) The fruit of faith in a righteous Savior is our sharing in His righteous deeds. In His righteousness, He looks after the whole of a person; both body and spirit. We are to do the same!
“But he answered, “You give them something to eat.”… – Mark 6:37View Sermon
You may be surprised to hear that honoring God has very little to do with our words and far more to do with our heart. Discover how to truly honor God in your life during this sermon from Pastor Rich shared at Ormond Church.
“These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” – Matthew 15:8
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:21View Sermon
We gathered at Ormond Church to honor a man who believed all mankind has been created equally in the Image of God and therefore all mankind shares an inherent value regardless of race, gender, or wealth. Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. learned from Jesus how to inspire peace and unity in the hearts of men, and like Jesus, was put to death for it. Today we honor them both in our message; “The Dream.”View Sermon
“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4:23-24
How do we worship God in Spirit and in Truth? How do we spiritually worship God with a genuine heart? Find out in this sermon!View Sermon
When the Disciples realized there were over 5,000 hungry people at one of their meetings, their first reaction was to send them away to fill their own stomachs. Jesus then commanded them to feed the people. The Disciples were perplexed because they only had 5 loaves and 2 fish, Jesus knew this but He gave them the command anyways. He wanted them to begin caring for those in need with what they had, then by faith God would bring the increase. Long story short, all estimated 10,000+ people ate that day with baskets of food left over!
When we see need we’re commanded to meet it. If we can’t feed 10,000 we start feeding one and trust God for the increase! During this sermon we learn more about the miracles that follow our obedience to serve others!View Sermon
Have you ever had a celebrity crush? Have you ever thought someone was just so great that you wanted to be just like them? I think we all have; my first idol was Michael Jordan. When I grew a little older however, that’s when I met Jesus. I met my Creator, and he far exceeded anyone I had ever met in personality, in behavior, in power, in wealth, in honor, and in love. So I decided I would become His follower, I would be an imitator.View Sermon
Although sin manifests in many forms, all sin shares a common root. Like a disease, the various sins we commit are merely the symptoms of a greater problem; if we treat only the symptoms we’ll never recover from the disease itself. When we look at a story like Sodom and Gomorrah, we often focus in on the various sins the cities committed which lead to their destruction. But these sins were symptomatic of a much greater problem. Like Sodom, we as individuals often try to treat the symptoms of our disease; we try to stop sexual immorality, stop slander, stop theft, stop alcoholism. But what if we are merely treating the symptom? How many times have we cut off a sin in our life only to have a new one spring up in it’s place? Together we discover how to kill sin at the root!View Sermon
Jesus said in the last days that “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold” in Matthew 24:12. This is a call to action for the believer; to increase in righteous living and set our hearts ablaze with love!View Sermon
